Bucket handle tear

The posterior horn of the lateral meniscus is not in its usual location .

Evaluation of the structures in the intercondylar notch shows a normal ACL and PCL. However, an extra structure is present between the ACL and PCL .

This is the lateral meniscus which has flipped into the intercondylar notch, consistent with a bucket handle tear.
